Climate change is worsening, yet our patterns of production and consumption remain largely unchanged. After six years of Energy Swaraj Yatra, travelling across India and engaging with lakhs of people, the need for a permanent home for climate correction has become clear.
The Climate Satyagraha Ashram, whose foundation will be laid on 26 November 2026, is being established to turn climate awareness into collective action, rooted in one fundamental truth.
A LIVING LABORATORY OF FINITE LIVING
The Ashram will be a living laboratory where people experience and practise finite living through responsible consumption, limited resource use and sustainable daily habits.

Through residential learning and training, participants live the principles of Climate Satyagraha.

They practise finite living every day, within Earth's limits, and make it their own.

ONE EARTH, SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
Through Nature & Satyagraha, we invite people from every state of India and countries across the world to bring or send a fistful of soil to the Ashram. The soil will be brought together to symbolise our shared Earth and collective responsibility.
Preserved
A portion of the soil will be preserved at the Ashram.
Laid in the foundation
Some soil will be symbolically used in the Ashram's foundation.
Shared onward
Mixed soil is shared with participants as a commitment to practise and spread Climate Satyagraha.
This will remain a continuing tradition for visiting groups.

BECOME AN ASHRAM PARTNER
We invite educational institutions, universities, organisations and other institutions across India and beyond to become Climate Satyagraha Ashram Partners through a simple, voluntary and non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

- Help build a nationwide network for climate correction.
